Important Note:

When I decided that I want to start a blog, I felt that I lack some essential knowledge on how to properly do that.

Because of that, I couldn’t make my mind to finally start it.

With the internet over my shoulder, I began to search for information and OMG, there was so much of it that it got so overwhelming and frustrating.

Sometimes, I was founding myself that I have started with one topic, ending with totally another, thus, spending so much of my time and not accomplishing literally anything!

That was the moment when I said to myself that there has to be some sort of step-by-step training on blogging and make money online.

So, I went searching for online training in affiliate marketing.

I was surprised to see how many pieces of training there were created and how expensive they are!

How many so-called “gurus” are ready to teach you everything you want to know for the exchange of a few thousands of bucks!

In this process, I have come over one training that was FREE to join. I said, ok, let’s see what they’ve got!

In no particular order, I am going to list below top web hosting providers that you can easily find over the internet if you are interested in their web hosting services.

I will briefly go into each of them to give you information about who they are and what they have to offer so you can have all the information about them in one place and hopefully make a better decision.

#1. BlueHost

BlueHost is one of the most popular hosting service providers out there.

It is owned by the Endurance International Group and serves over 2 million customers, along with its sister companies: HostMonster, iPage, and FastDomain.

BlueHost is definitely one of the best web hosting service providers just for any type of website you want to build, whether it’s a WordPress blog, a WooCommerce online store or any other type you have in mind.

They support shared hosting, VPS, and Dedicated hosting so that anyone can find a hosting plan that better suits their goals.

If you are new to building a website and wonder what the heck all these types of web hosting services mean, don’t worry because as a beginner, you don’t really need to run into these difficult, at first sight, terms as shared, VPS and dedicated hosting (where you have full control over your own hardware).

In the beginning, when you are just starting out to build up your website, you don’t need to look into VPS and dedicated hosting because, at this stage, your website doesn’t have too many visitors.

Later on, when your website will grow and start to generate your income, you may wish to consider these options, but for the beginning, just pick up the shared web hosting.

Here is what is included in BlueHost’s standard offer:

  • Free Domain Name for the First Year
  • Free SSL Certificate Included (provides secure connection)
  • WordPress Installation with Just One Click
  • 24/7 Support
  • 30 Days Money-Back Guarantee.

Their pricing starts with $2.68 per month (initial term of 36 months) and could reach $12.69 per month for the shared web hosting.

Their pricing for web hosting starts at $2.75 per month and may reach $5.95 per month.

HostGator has also a website builder which is a simple drag and drop process that allows you to build up your website fast and easily.

In this way, with HostGator, you can build any type of website you can think of, from a WordPress blog to a WooCommerce online store.

Is There A Better Alternative?

While all the web hosting service providers I have mentioned in my post could be a way to go depending on your own needs and expectations, there is a better solution that I have been personally using and happy with.

This solution is hosting at Wealthy Affiliate’s SiteRubix platform. Here are just a few things why I love this web hosting provider:

  • Let you host up 25 free websites and 25 own domains. That is 50 websites in total.

  • Excellent SiteSpeed Rating – Your website is going to be hosted on Site.Rubix platform – the most robust and powerful hosting platform out there. The average load time is 1.3 seconds which is the fastest in the industry.

  • Double Hosting – This feature you will most likely NOT find elsewhere. What this actually means is that they have two versions of your website and if for any reason, one of them will go down, the second version will 2mirror” and swap in instantly.

  • Hosting Security – Wealthy Affiliate has been around in the industry since 2005 and you can rest assured they know everything about websites and how to keep them as secure as possible. They have several layers of security and are able to prevent spam or hacking before it even occurs.

  • Regular BackUps – This feature is offered by very few web hosting service providers, but at Wealthy Affiliate, it comes standard with all of your websites. They will back up your website every 24 hours so that just in case you have messed something up, they’ve got you covered and get your website back and running for you.

And all this is for a price of $49 per month, which seems ridiculous if to compare with other hosting platforms such as Pagely, WP Engine, and Pressable (they charge up to $299 per month and they don’t have included so many features as Wealthy Affiliate does).

After almost one year of using Wealthy Affiliate’s web hosting services, I have never experienced any issue with my website and the SiteSupport has been super fast and helpful every time I needed help or had a question.

Not to mention, that this price of $49 is NOT for hosting only. It also includes other marketing tools and features needed to run a successful website, so the cost is very affordable for the value you get.

If you are interested to see what Wealthy Affiliate has to offer, you can read my complete Wealthy Affiliate review.

If you decide to give it a chance, I will be personally welcoming you and help you to get started if you need my help.

It’s been almost a year since I am using this AMAZING platform and I have already learned so much from it and I still continue to learn every day.

  1. Hi Natalie,

Thanks for this informative article about website hosting. I think you are providing an excellent source for people who like to build their websites.

The companies listed in this article seem affordable compared to Pagely, WP Engine, and Pressable($299 per month), and this is exactly what I was looking for when I started my first website.

I notice there are only two out of seven provide a money-back guarantee, so I would like to know the SiteRubix from Wealthy Affiliate ($49) also offers this guarantee?

I just want to prepare for thousands of “What if” scenarios in my head, although I don’t really need it. 🙂

    Cheers,
    Matt

    • Hi, Matt,

Thank you for your comment, much appreciated.

I like your curiosity and I personally believe that “forewarned is forearmed”.

To answer your question, you probably already know that the SiteRubix platform and 2 free websites are coming along with the free membership at Wealthy Affiliate. Plus, a bunch of training on Internet/Affiliate marketing is included, so there is a lot to learn even without having to pay a dime.

If someone works hard enough, it is possible to make money even with the free membership, and I know a lot of people inside WA are already doing this.

This is one of the things that makes WA so much different from any other affiliate marketing training programs out there.

So, when someone decides to upgrade to Premium WA membership, there is no need to provide a money-back guarantee because, with that move on becoming Premium member, a person has manifested his consent about the fact that the Program is right for him/she.

What every person does with the training provided is only up to them. It requires a lot of work to create a profitable online business and this is what WA teaches in its training.

There are already a ton of examples when people took the training, followed it, worked hard at building online assets and found success. This is how WA works.

I hope this helped clear things a bit.

      Best Wishes,
      Natalie
